For over 20 years, Frolic Farmstead has been a dream in the making — a place where dogs can play, explore, and truly feel at home. Now, that dream has come to life as a home-style doggie daycare and dog walking retreat designed around joy, freedom, and connection.

Daycare dogs join structured walking groups, giving them the chance to explore, socialize, and get plenty of healthy exercise every day.

A Natural Retreat for Dogs

Nestled in a countryside setting, our farmstead offers three spacious exercise areas filled with trees, bushes, and open spaces for running, sniffing, and relaxing, enabling dogs to exhibit their natural behaviours. There’s a digging zone for pups who love to dig.

Cost

Weekly - 1 dog $45 or 2 dogs $70 per day

Casual - 1 dog $47 or 2 dogs $74

Schedule

Monday - Friday, excluding public holidays.

Pickup & drop off

Pickups are approximately between 8:30-9:15 and drop offs between 3-4pm depending where you are located on the route.

Morning dog walking groups arrive approximately 10-10:30am and afternoon groups 1-2pm.

Rest time

Following the morning run and activities, dogs will have a rest time between 11:45am – 1pm.  We have a variety of beds, sofas and crates for your pup to rest up.

Rules

Dogs Must:

  • Be fully vaccinated

  • Be neutered/spayed by 1 year, dependant on behaviour

  • Wear a collar (we will provide an identity tag with our contact details)

  • Not bark excessively

Lunch

We are happy to give your pup lunch if required, please provide this in a container which is clearly labelled with their name.

Harnesses/Collars/Coats

We are happy for your dog to wear a harness.  This will be removed during rest time for their comfort.  All day care dogs must come wearing a collar with our identity tag as this is part of our Escape Management Plan which is required by TDC.
